Joomla Templates - Flexi Template

Last Updated on Monday, 01 February 2010 17:34 Written by Administrator Friday, 22 January 2010 19:47

This template structure includes elements from ja_purity (template tools), beez (overrides), and rhuk_milkyway (backend parameters, rounded modules) - the templates included in Joomla 1.5 install.

It is based on the skeleton-template-tableless by Waseem Sadiq of www.bulletprooftemplates.com (collapsible source-ordered layout, styleswitcher etc).

Most importantly, to reiterate Waseem:

In the spirit of Joomla 1.5 and open source these templates are released under the same GPL/GNU License as Joomla itself.

View GNU General Public License

This template is a combination of elements and techniques we gleaned from using these templates as our defaults. It resulted out of necessity - we needed a template skeleton flexible enough to suit a variety of layouts, and simple enough to be customised effectively. This template is to be used as a starting point - something to build upon.

The bright colours and the hatched background are used to make obvious the different and corresponding elements. The colour is typed next to the hexadecimal values in the CSS for easy association.

We have included notations throughout. We hope to make this as easy, and as clear as possible.
